We took our second break-in trip this weekend to McCormick's Creek State Park, just west of Bloomington, Indiana. We arrived around 8pm Friday night. Grilled out and enjoyed the evening. Temperatures reached the 90's so we took our portable air conditioning unit. It worked like a charm. The exhaust from the unit pulled so much air out that it created a pressure situation. Cracked the window a hair and that solved that issue.
On Saturday we took several hikes and found the Park was holding it's 6th annual Blues Fest, BBQ, Beer and a Classic Car Show. Great Blues Music and the BBQ was out of this world. Love that '49 Ford.
On the way out Sunday we stopped at the Canyon Inn and took a hike to the falls. Very pretty views in the canyon.
Hi I found your blog through "wander the west." I was searching out air conditioners for a pop up. I have a Tacoma pick up with a Fleet pop up camper (30 amp). Venting seems to be easy but how do you power it? How do you plug it into the outside AC? Thank You
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay in responding. I plug into the outlet, but you have to be plugged into shore power or have a generator.
